We are soon about to land in Miami MIA after a 11 hour and 40 minutes flight from Zurich ZRH on the Swiss Airbus A330-300 reg. HB-JHN. Time is about 6PM local time and the sun is about to set. Lovely!
There are signs in the lavatories onboard the Swiss Airbus A330-300 that the water is not drinkable, but they provide you a cup if you want to drink it anyway. =)
In the middle of the flight to Miami they serve ice cream, the Swiss brand Mövenpick. They serve ice cream on all long haul day time flights. They also have a snack and beverage bar in the aft galley where you can get sandwiches, candy and a wide choice of beverages during the flight.
Lunchtime! I had to choose between ”meatloaf with mashed potatoes” or ”pasta vid apples(?!) on top”. I had the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and cole stew.
Carro had NLML (Low lactose meal) as a special service request (SSR) and got served rise and chicken.
We had just one hour transfer in Zürich ZRH so there was no time to take pictures from the airport or even at the aircraft we are flying on. We are now at crusing altitude 38.000 feet with our nose pointed to the west. The aircraft we are flying is Swiss Airbus A330-300 reg. HB-JHN and the flying time will be approx 11 hours to Miami MIA.
Crusing at 37 000 feet headed southbound to Zürich ZRH. The Swiss attentive and professional flight attendants has begun the inflight service, serving cheese tartar and berverages. Tasty! I really like it!
