Accessible van not available when we arrive

Yesterday I tried to book Super Shuttle airport transfer between Miami Airport MIA and our hotel Holiday Inn Oceanfront at Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, and got this message:



So now we need to find out a Plan B. We can either take a direct Miami Metrobus bus number 150 from Miami Airport MIA to Miami Beach, the so called Miami Beach Flyer that hopefully has low entrance wheelchair accessible buses, or a wheelchair accessible taxi.

From Miami Airport MIA website:

Patrons in need of accessible taxicab service should request it upon arrival at the ground level curbside area. Please allow a reasonable amount of additional time to call an equipped vehicle from the holding lot, located just outside the terminal area.  Drivers will assist patrons with baggage.

Wheelchair accessible Super Shuttle Miami

The airport transfer shuttle service Super Shuttle (easily recognized by their blue vans) do have vans with wheelchair lift in Miami. The van carry 1 passenger in wheelchair and 10 seated passengers, and provide transport from and to Miami MIA Airport / Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood FLL. You can book wheelchair accessible vans online at their website

At the site you check the checkbox in the blue reservation box at the start page to book the wheelchair friendly van.
