We was supposed to fly back to Europe yesterday, with Swiss LX65 to Zürich and then onwards to Stockholm today, but the doctor at SOS International has told us to take another flight back home. We still doesn’t know how or when, but they have decided to move us to another hotel, the Marriott Courtyard at Miami Airport. They have booked 3 nights for us there.
So, now we are on our way to the other hotel. To be continued…
The Miami Metrobus number 150 runs between Miami Beach and Miami Airport MIA and runs every day. All buses are equipped with a ramp and the bus driver will help you to get on and get off the bus. There are several bus stops in Miami Beach and most of the hotels are nearby a bus stop.
The bus takes you from/to the Central station at Miami Airport, from there you can take the airport train MIA Mover to the terminals.
Caroline’s left foot got red/blue/miss-colored after the long haul flight from Zürich and we
suspected a blood clot although she was wearing support stockings during the flights.
We have contacted the Scandinavian emergency center SOS International located in Denmark witch are working 24 hours a day on behalf of insurance companies in Scandinavia. They did suggest that we should visit the Emergency Room at the Mount Sinai Medical Center at 4300 Alton Road, Miami Beach.
After an X-ray and Ultra Sound of the left foot the doctors at the ER could rule out a blood clot, however she got antibiotics to treat a possible infection in the foot and was told to keep her foot elevated as much as possible.
What do you think of my new hat? =)
It feels quite odd, because I have never worn a hat before. I think it looks better than those type of baseball caps.
Mattias + Caroline = True! <3
